To design our life with and around our Nordic sled dogs is our passion since more than 20 years. In the year 2000 our first Alaskan Malamute girl moved in with us and literally turned our life and the house upside down. Nevertheless, or maybe exactly because of this, the fascination for these still very rudimental breeds grew even stronger. Eventually a sled dog pack lived with us. With this, the wish and idea sparked, which finally led to our relocation to Swedish Lapland.

Our dogs are family members. They live in a kennel adjacent to Sandsjögården. Djanga is our exception and one in a million Alaskan Malamute. She decided to live with us in our house as our family dog, where she of course also has her own access to her house kennel.
